The day before and after Proklamasi Kemerdekaan (17 August) it may be difficult to travel because of traffic jams la/u lintas macst. Don’t plan to travel on these days if you’re on a tight schedule. Also, starting a week before Christmas, the entire island is grid- locked with foreign and domestic tourists.
